Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Velveranda website and any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. About us. This website is operated by Velveranda. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Velveranda. Contact: cavelliergroup@gmail.com.

2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.

3. Products and descriptions. We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours can look different on different screens, and sizes and weights are approximate. Products are intended for normal household use.

4. Prices and payment. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you place the order. Taxes and shipping are shown before you pay. Payment is taken when you order, through our third-party payment providers. We do not store your card details.

5. Pricing errors. If an item is listed at an incorrect price because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

6. Orders and acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send your shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if an order appears to be placed by a reseller without agreement. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.

7. Bulk orders and discounts. Eligible items receive an automatic discount at checkout when you order 5 or more eligible items. The current tiers are shown on our Bulk Orders page. Some items are excluded. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. We may change or withdraw discounts at any time for future orders.

8. Shipping and delivery. Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you when the item is delivered to the address you gave.

9. Returns and refunds. Returns are covered by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Your account and information. You agree to give accurate and complete order, contact and delivery details. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal information.

11. Acceptable use. You may not use the site for anything unlawful, interfere with its security or operation, or copy or scrape its content without our written permission.

12. Intellectual property. The Velveranda name, logo, text and site design belong to us or our licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.

13. Third-party services and links. The site uses third-party services such as payment processors and carriers, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

14. Warranty disclaimer. Except for rights you have by law, the site and products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits the legal guarantees consumers have in their country of residence.

15. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16. Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, customs delays, natural disasters or supplier shortages.

17. Disputes. If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

18. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The version posted on the site when you place your order applies to that order.
