Quick-Dry Diatom Stone Bath Mat

Step out of the shower onto a drier floor with the Quick-Dry Diatom Stone Bath Mat from Velveranda. This is a soft, flexible mat with a diatom mud absorbent layer (it is not a rigid stone slab). The surface absorbs water quickly, so wet footprints fade fast and the mat does not stay soggy the way fabric mats can. It is a simple upgrade for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and entryways.

A non-slip base helps the mat stay in place on tile and other smooth floors, and the marble-look pattern gives it a clean, modern appearance that suits most interiors. Choose from four designs and two sizes: a compact 40 x 60 cm mat for small bathrooms or a roomier 50 x 80 cm mat. Because it dries quickly between uses, it helps keep the floor around the shower, tub or sink fresher day after day.

Lay the mat on a clean, dry, level floor so the base can grip properly, and check that it sits flat before stepping on it. To clean it, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and let it air dry; avoid soaking it or using oily cleaners, which can reduce absorption. Take extra care on any wet floor, especially for children and older adults. It makes a practical housewarming gift.
