Faux Jute Outdoor Doormat

Create a welcoming entrance with the Faux Jute Outdoor Doormat from Velveranda. It has the warm, woven look of natural jute, but it is made from durable synthetic fibers that are built to cope with everyday foot traffic at the door.

The textured weave helps brush dirt from shoes, and a non-slip backing helps keep the mat in place on porches, steps and hallway floors. The neutral, natural tones suit farmhouse, coastal, modern and traditional homes alike, and they pair well with planters, lanterns and a painted front door. Choose grey, white or brown, in three sizes: 40 x 60 cm, 50 x 80 cm and 60 x 90 cm. Layer it over a larger patterned rug for a designer look.

Shake or sweep the mat regularly and rinse it with a hose when needed, then let it dry completely before putting it back. Lay it on a clean, flat surface and check that the edges sit flat. A covered doorway will help it keep its color and shape for longer, as strong sun and standing water wear out any outdoor mat over time. Take extra care in wet or icy weather. It makes an easy housewarming gift and gives your home a friendly first impression.
