Flying Book Pendant Light

Lighting can tell a story, and the Flying Book Pendant Light from Velveranda does it beautifully. Shaped like an open book caught mid-flight, this imaginative ceiling lamp brings a sense of wonder to reading nooks, home libraries, studies, bedrooms and creative studios. It is a striking, conversation-starting piece for book lovers and anyone who enjoys design with a sense of humour.

Crafted from durable PVC and iron, the open pages softly diffuse the light, casting a warm, gentle glow that feels relaxing and inviting. Hang a single pendant above a favourite armchair or desk, or group several at different heights to create a magical cluster of flying books over a staircase, dining table or children's play area. Choose classic white or black, or playful blue, pink and yellow for a bolder statement.

For safety, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician in line with local wiring regulations, and always switch off the power before fitting or changing a bulb. Use a bulb of the recommended type and wattage, and keep the shade away from direct heat. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. It makes a memorable gift for teachers, writers, students and anyone with a passion for stories.
