Solar Garden Birdbath Fountain

Turn a quiet corner of your yard into a peaceful retreat with the Solar Garden Birdbath Fountain from Velveranda. The gentle sound of flowing water creates a calm atmosphere on patios, balconies and in gardens, and the moving water gives visiting birds a fresh place to drink and bathe.

The fountain is powered by sunlight, so there are no cords to trail across the lawn and no outlet required. Set it in a sunny spot, fill it with water and it runs during daylight hours. Choose from two styles to suit your outdoor space. It makes an attractive centerpiece among flower beds and potted plants, and it is a relaxing thing to watch with a morning coffee or after a long day at work.

The pump needs direct sunlight to run, so flow will slow or stop in shade and on cloudy days. Keep the basin topped up, as running the pump dry can damage it, and rinse the bowl and pump regularly to keep the water fresh and clear of leaves. In freezing weather, drain it and store it indoors. Place it on firm, level ground, and supervise young children around any water feature, however shallow. It makes a lovely gift for gardeners and bird lovers.
