Diatomite Sink Faucet Drying Mat

Keep the area behind your sink clean and dry with the Diatomite Sink Faucet Drying Mat from Velveranda. Made from natural diatomaceous earth, it soaks up drips and splashes around the faucet within seconds and dries quickly, helping to prevent puddles, water marks and grime on your countertop.

A cut-out of about 6.5 cm fits around most standard faucets, and the straight grooves and beveled edges guide water into the stone and give it a neat, minimalist look. Use it in the kitchen as a resting place for sponges, brushes and soap, or in the bathroom under toothbrush cups and hand wash. Choose white, gray or dark gray, in a 40 cm or 60 cm length, both about 10 cm deep.

Measure your faucet base and the space behind your sink before ordering to check the fit. Rinse the mat with clean water and let it air dry; if absorption slows over time, lightly sand the surface to refresh it. Avoid oily cleaners and soaking. Diatomite is a stone-like material, so handle it with care and avoid dropping it. It is a small, low-cost upgrade that makes daily cleanup noticeably easier, and it makes a useful gift for a new home.
